Poppy The Gentlemans

Hello everyone, I’m Poppy, the Yellow Hat Guitarist of The Gentlemans Band. 1. How did you start playing music, and why did you choose the guitar? What’s so captivating about the guitar? My journey into music dates back to my high school days. I loved listening to songs of the era, and my idol back then was Sek Loso. Watching him sing and play guitar simultaneously was incredibly captivating. Sek had a unique charm, which inspired me to pick up the guitar and practice consistently. Over time, I honed my skills, performed in school, and even participated in competitions. I gradually discovered my individuality through the sounds I expressed with my guitar. This path led me to where I am today, making music as a professional guitarist. 2. What are you currently working on? I am currently the lead guitarist for The Gentlemans band. We’ve released covers and singles like “โลกซึมเศร้า” (Depressed World) and “แค่คั่นเวลา” (Just a Pause). Early next year, we’ll be releasing our third single, so please stay tuned for that! In addition, I’ve worked on personal projects such as “ไม่รู้ไม่รู้ไม่รู้” (I Don’t Know, Don’t Know, Don’t Know) and “ออกไปได้แล้ว” (Get Out Now), in collaboration with Champ from Funky Burger. I also contribute by recording guitar tracks for other music projects as well. 3. What do you think about using Gusta guitars after one year? First, I must say I had heard of the Gusta brand before and even considered getting one. The design and aesthetics really appealed to me, and the sound quality is impressive. The model I’m using is the Gusta GCH-HSS Black Edition. When I first tried it, I noticed its distinct tone and versatility, allowing it to perform exceptionally well across different styles. Its matte black finish is stunning. Given the musical style of my band, I customized this guitar by replacing the pickups with the help of Music Arms. As for the yellow design on the body, I requested it from Music Arms and hand-painted it myself, making it uniquely mine. This guitar has become my go-to for long tours. The sound, feel, shape, and color—it all perfectly matches my preferences. I now consider Gusta my ultimate guitar companion and hope the brand continues to produce high-quality instruments like this.
